Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing, also referred to as Sanación Pránica, is a form of energy healing that utilises “prana” (life force energy) to balance, harmonise, and transform the body’s energy fields, known as chakras and aura. These energy fields are considered blueprints or matrices surrounding and permeating the physical body. This technique focuses on the harmonisation and balancing of these energy fields.

The Pranic Healing procedure:

1. Preparation and Initial Interview

The healer inquires about specific issues or ailments the client is experiencing to gain a clear understanding of which areas to address.

2. Energy Scanning

Using their hands, the healer "scans" the client's energy field to detect areas of congestion or depletion.

3. Cleansing or Sweeping

Through specific hand movements, the healer cleanses the energy field, removing sick or stagnant energy. This is commonly referred to as "sweeping".

4. Energysing

Once the field is cleansed, the healer transfers fresh prana or life force energy to the receiver. This is done by channelling energy through the healer's hands to specific areas or chakras of the client's body.

5. Stabilisation

The newly transferred energy is stabilised to ensure it remains in place and provides healing.

6. Sealing

The energised area is sealed to ensure the healing energy is retained and doesn't dissipate quickly.

7. Disposal of Used Energy

It's vital that, post-session, the healer properly disposes of any negative or sick energy they've extracted, often immersing their hands in salt water or visualising the energy fading into the earth.

8. Advice and Aftercare

The healer may offer guidance on maintaining energy balance and might suggest self-care practices or specific activities to support the healing process.

9. Follow-up Sessions

Depending on the need, follow-up sessions can be scheduled to continue the healing process or address any other energy issues that might arise.

Theory behing Pranic Healing

  1. Life Force Energy (Prana): In Pranic Healing, the body is believed to have the capacity to heal itself. To do so, it requires an ample supply of life force energy, termed “prana” in Sanskrit, absorbed by the body from the air, sun, and earth.
  1. Energy Imbalances: Illnesses, be they physical or mental, are viewed as manifestations of imbalances or disruptions in the natural flow of prana through the body. These imbalances can be triggered by emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual factors.
  1. Cleansing and Energising: Instead of relying on medicines or physical interventions, Pranic Healing involves two main processes: cleansing, which is the removal of sick energy from the system, and energising, supplying the body with fresh and vital prana.
  1. Chakras: These are energy vortexes in the energy body that act as receivers and transmitters of prana. In Pranic Healing, they are given special attention, as their proper functioning is crucial for the overall health of an individual.

Connecting Pranic Healing with Quantum Energy

Quantum physics deals with phenomena at the most fundamental and minute level of matter: the atomic and subatomic particle level. The relationship between pranic healing and quantum physics is often explored regarding how energy and consciousness interact at this subatomic level.

1. Quantum Field: Everything in the universe is thought to be interconnected through a quantum field. Some theorise that this field is the source of prana or life force energy.

2. Observer and Reality: Quantum physics suggests the consciousness of an observer can influence reality. In terms of healing, this could be interpreted as a healer’s ability to influence a patient’s health state through intention and consciousness.

3. Energy and Matter: In quantum physics, energy and matter are interchangeable. This idea supports the concept that imbalances in the energy (or subtle) body can eventually manifest as ailments in the physical body.

Though there are conceptual similarities between pranic healing and the ideas of quantum physics, it’s crucial to understand that science hasn’t yet established a direct, proven link between the two. Pranic Healing, like many holistic practices, is best understood from an integrative perspective, considering both the physical and non-physical dimensions of a human being.
